Not being a lawyer and after reading this article, my first thought was...could there be a reason Heath did this...not once but twice? Is this a maneuver? is this a Art of the deal???

We shall see, but we’re thinking not so much. The judge could make him pay the opposing counsel’s legal fees and the court’s time. Heath has been filing with the court for depositions and phone and text records, so he’s been working the case. It’s a shame either way if this has angered the judge.

point taken. Could his apparent neglect be seen as malpractice? Just strange in any case.

Yep! He could also have a bar complaint filed. Strange and sad.

Believe McGill will be a fair judge and not punish Hanna.
